I created Caged to represent the desire to keep it all locked up and contained. To carefully protect what is in our hearts. However, quite a few people wrote to me and said it represented their feelings of being trapped or constrained in their emotions. I found that really interesting as that is not something I have ever personally experienced. Humans are so varied and it is incredible.
